Our youth ministry at DC has two objectives: 1. That teenagers come to know Jesus as their personal Saviour and Lord, and 2. That teens who have professed faith in Christ will be totally transformed by by God's grace as they follow Jesus. With these two objectives in mind, DC Youth seeks to proclaim the Gospel to all teenagers (whether they come from a church family or not), and to help Christian teens grow in faith and maturity.
CLUB is a fortnightly event dedicated to proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ to teenagers. It achieves this primarily through establishing significant mentoring relationships between teens and youth team members. CLUB runs on Friday nights (6:30pm - 8:30pm) every fortnight during school terms in the Upper Room at the DC Building. It is an energetic program designed to engage youth and present them with the truths of the Gospel. If you have teenagers, we would encourage you to involve them in CLUB.
4 Real is what we call our follow-up ministry to high school students. What’s with the name? The name 4 Real signifies four identities we believe are important for a young person who is progressing on the journey of faith: discipleship, nurture, accountability, and mission. We want our high schoolers not only to live out their identity in Christ, and to interact with the Bible in practical ways, but also to live on mission for what God has called them to. 4Real meetings take place in small groups and there are other events and retreats throughout the year.
