Topic: Topical Scripture: Hebrews 11:17–11:19
As Christians, we say we trust in the God who asked Abraham to kill his promised son. Abraham's response to this request seems crazy. It's a faith response that seems impossible.
It can be difficult to respond in faith when life gets hard: in the midst of a struggle or trial, how do we trust God in every situation? Sometimes it seems too difficult.
God often doesn't do things in ways we would expect. Sometimes His timing is not what we think it should be, and yet we are called to have faith in His perfect plan.
What kind of effect would it have if our faith was like Abraham's? How would your life be transformed if you held on to God's promises that tightly?
